Armature Studios kündigte an, dass ihr Titel Dead Star nicht mehr im PSN Store (und Steam) erhältlich sein wird und somit auch ab dem 1. November die Online-Server des Spiels. Die Kosten sind dem Studio einfach zu viel geworden:
“We are shutting down the game because, bluntly, the costs of operating the game now exceed its income. This decision was not taken lightly internally, and was extremely sad to me personally. Armature put a lot of time, love and studio resources into both the game and the community, and we are extremely grateful to our community for their support in keeping this going as long as it could.”
Dead Star war erst kürzlich im LineUp der kostenlosen PS+ Spiele erhältlich. Wer den Titel noch in seiner Download Liste hat, kann diesen freilich noch herunterladen und spielen… allerdings ist nur das Tutorial verwendbar.
