Wie Insomniac verkündet, will man das nächste PS3 Projekt demnächst vorstellen. Genauer gesagt zwischen “jetzt” und der PAX, die im kommenden September stattfindet.

Die Codies veröffentlichten nun das erste Bild zum kommenden Racer Dirt 3. Es stammt aus dem ersten Trailer zum Spiel, der noch dieses Wochenende erscheinen soll. Weitere Informationen sollen dann erst am kommenden Montag veröffentlicht werden…
Heavy Rain konnte allein deshalb schon den Spieler in seinen Bann ziehen, da die Charaktere nicht nur “gesichtlose Typen” waren. Die Entwickler haben wirklich gute Arbeit geleistet…

Es gab ja schon mal Gerüchte, dass Karts in Gran Turismo 5 enthalten sein werden. Nun beweisen Scans des offiziellen PlayStation Magazins aus Frankreich, dass die kleinen motorisierten Dinger tatsächlich im Spiel enthalten sein werden. Auf einen MarioKart ähnlichen Modus werden wir wohl verzichten müssen, obwohl es bestimmt doch sehr amüsant wäre, wenn wir in Gran Turismo 5 die Piste mit Bananenschalen pflastern dürften…
In einem Interview zeigte sich Naughty Dog (bzw Arne Meyer) sehr interessiert an einer Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Game of the Year Edition. Es ist zwar keine direkte Ankündigung, dass etwas in der Art veröffentlicht wird, aber man denkt darüber nach. Sollte eine GOTY Ausgabe erscheinen, werden mit aller Wahrscheinlichkeit auch alle AddOns des Spiels auf der Blu-ray™ enthalten sein.
“Well, luckily for us we had been planning for some time to move the studio just a few hundred feet to a new, bigger space to make sure we had plenty of room to increase our headcount over the course of development,” Arne told PlayStation University. “I’m not sure if you’d heard about our studio space towards the end of development on UNCHARTED 2, but we had run out of room for our new hires and even had to build new workspaces. Little did we know at the time that we would need some of that additional space for the awards!”

System 3 kündigten an, dass im September der Ferrari Challenge-Nachfolger erscheinen wird. Allerdings nicht auf Blu-ray™ sondern ausschließlich im PlayStation®Network, was aber nicht bedeutet, dass man in Zukunft nur noch für den digitalen Markt produzieren möchte. Aber man habe das Potential des PSN erkannt, so System 3 CEO Mark Cale.

Der Inhalt des kommenden 5. MapPacks ist zwar nicht unbedingt neu, aber immerhin kostenlos für VIP-Code-Besitzer. Das Pack fügt “White Pass” dem Rushmode und “Nelson Bay” dem Conquestmode hinzu…
